Periodic Points for Systems of Varieties

Abstract
Given a finite system of regular maps between algebraic varieties, it is natural to seek a procedure that determines whether or not a given (rational) point has finite orbit under repeated application of the maps. In this talk, we establish the existence of such a procedure for some simple system of varieties.
